About St. Xavier's University Kolkata
St. Xavier's University, popularly known as SXUK, is a private Jesuit university in Kolkata, West Bengal. The co-education university was established in 2017. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). it also carries approvals from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for MBA courses and the Bar Council of India (BCI) for law courses.
The St Xavier’s University courses list includes various UG, PG, and PhD programmes in the fields of management, commerce, law, humanities, social work, mass communication, and others. All these courses are offered under the different departments and schools at the university.
The St Xavier’s University Kolkata campus is spread over 16.64 acres. It offers all kinds of modern facilities such as smart classrooms with projectors, a wi-fi campus, a computer lab, a moot court, on-campus hostels for boys and girls, and many others. St. Xavier’s University placement records are also quite good. In 2023, the university achieved 100% placements for MBA. The highest package offered to MBA students stood at Rs 20 lakh per annum.
